Saskatoon experience

We had a great visit with the family and friends in the Saskatoon area.

Lucy's brother Lloyd and his wife Delores.

So wonderful morning coffee times with Bill and Charmaine. Charmaine is Lucy's niece.

Bill and Charmaine's house in Borden.

A visit to the Berry Farm in Saskatoon.

The berry farm is right in the banks of the Saskatchewan river.

While at the Berry Farm we met Tyler Golding and some friends. Tyler is Lucy's grand nephew.

We made a stop in Warman to see a friend and visit another niece.

Our friend Angie Boldt wo actually lives in Waldheim but met us in Warman.

We stopped in Osler to have lunch.

We went to the Valley Christian Academy to see another friend Melissa Enns and also Tyler Golding.

Stopped to pick up some farmer sausage in Gruenthal.

Took the back roads from Waldheim to Borden past this abandoned Catholic church.

A peek through the caragana hedge at the Borden cemetery.
Lucy and I were married in this church turned residence 45 years ago.

Stopped by to see Darrel and Kathy Wiebe across from the cemetery.
The rutted driveway of the old homestead.

Kelly and Chelsey and the dog. Chelsey is Lucy's grand niece.

The old Borden bridge.

A stop in Alsask for lunch.

Crossing into our 9th province this trip.

The crops were further along in Alberta as this field of Canola shows.
