Gatineau to St. Catharines

7 & 8 June 2017

Traveled from Gatineau to St. Catharines

We left Gatineau at 9:30am and headed out of Quebec into Toronto and on towards St. Catharines.

The day broke clear, blue and warm. We were so thankful after yesterdays wind, cold and rain. The country side is so green and lush after so much rain.

Beautiful farms and fields.

Can't ask for a better day weather wise.

Arrived at our destination. My brother Stan and his wife Eileen's place in St. Catharines.

It was so nice and warm and since Stan and Eileen were not home from work yet we relaxed on the deck by the pool in the back yard.

Marley had a nice perch nearby but out of reach of the dog.

They have a beautiful back yard.

Stan preparing to BBQ some pork loin.

We had dinner in their RV. (the closest we have been to camping with them).

Sunnyside Street.

Took a drive out across the Welland Canal and had a picnic.

The amazing peach orchards of St. Catharines.

Great trees all laden with small peaches.

The colours were so brilliant.

We went a bit further and had ice cream at the Avondale dairy.

It was their son-in-law's birthday so we drove to Beamsville to celebrate in their sunroom.

Perfect weather for a picnic.

They have a very nice home with an excellent, quiet location.

Stan and Eileen's grand daughter had a stuffy named Roger who wanted to meet Marley.

They had fun with Marley helping him celebrate.

Stan hanging the balloon bouquet.

Hannah with the two stuffy friends.

Alex blowing out the candles with both kids helping.

Nice family. Thanks for the dinner! and visit.
