Up Close and Personal with Icebergs

Spend the day hiking across the bay from the house to get a closer look at a couple of the smaller icebergs that are positioned there.

The sunset after a windy day. Promises of a better day tomorrow.

Lucy and Carman starting out along the path to find the icebergs.

Great day to hike in the sunshine.

A lot the the trail follows and ATV path but not always.

Great say to capture the colour of the sky and the water.

Found the first iceberg. A saddle shape.

The colours are so amazing!

Gotta love this picture.

Rugged, rough shore-line.

Looking across the bay the the house. It's the second from the left.

The winter was rough on the land.

One could keep on taking pictures but it doesn't do it justice.
Wondering on to find the second iceberg.

The trail continues.

Across the bay towards the house which is now near the end of the peninsula.

Every turn is a "Kodak" moment.

The boardwalk is so that you don't have to walk through the mud. Some still don't seem to get it.

This iceberg is like a tooth with a cavity. The colours are still amazing.

As the bergs turn and bob in the ocean they are carved and reshaped. Sometimes the split with a loud crack and roll over. The locals do not go anywhere near them because they are very unpredictable.

Looking across at the house which is 2nd from the left.

Just keep snapping at each turn in the path.
A panoramic view of the bay.
