Visit to 47 Motion Drive

For those of you who might be interested in having a look at the house where were are here are some pictures to hopefully help you see what we are experiencing.

 A front view of the house. The upper center window is the library and the upper right hand side window is Nikolai's bedroom. The lower right hand window is Barton's office.

The upper back deck off of the living room and dining room area. The glass railing was torn off by the huge wind storm in March. It will be replaced shortly.

 Inside, the kitchen is always a gathering place with buffet meals and just a lot of general conversation among members of the family. It's fun to just lean back and be a listener.

 Downstairs is our bedroom, sitting room, kitchenette and bathroom. Level to the outside it's bright and sunny.

 This is a better view of the sitting area and table. There is also a back entrance if we should choose to come and go this way. The gas fireplace keeps the area cozy.

 A view from the back entrance. The washroom is the door on the very left. There is also a door on the left which you cannot see that is another bedroom. The door at the far end of the hall to the left of the stairs is the music room.

 The main floor looking from the kitchen through the dining room to the living room. At the far end of the room on the right is a set of french doors that opens into the homework room.

This is the pantry room off of the kitchen area. A storage area as well as the coffee counter. On the right hand side are more cupboards for dishes, cereal, overstock and drygoods such as flour, rice, raisins, sugar etc.

 When you come into the house from the garage you come into the mud room. As you can see it's quite self explanatory.

Another view of the mud room that also has a rinse sink and around the corner is a bathroom.

 This is the front entrance. Seldom used by members living in the house but mainly a guest entrance. Immediately behind me is Barton's office. (no picture of this allowed)

The stairway is like this from the basement all the way to the upper floor. This shows the stairway from the main floor to the upper floor.

This is the top of the stairs on the upper floor. The opposite wall is the 'library'. The door to the right in the back is the games/TV room, the door to the right is the laundry room.

 Also on this floor are the other bedrooms, a bathroom and the master suite.

The kids didn't want pictures of their bedrooms so that's something that you will have to understand is just standard.
